About Me

I am a Maine native living back in my home state after several years "away". I am married with two children, a boy and a girl. We spend our free time with friends and family, on our boat, or visiting my relatives by vacationing at our camp in Maine.

I have been a technical consultant since 1995, focusing on SAP development work. I have had an interest in technology and programming since I was about eight years old, starting my programming career using Basic on a Texas Instruments TI-99/4A. Throughout elementary and high school I stayed involved in computers, using TRS-80s and Apple IIes to program Basic and Logo. In college, I moved to Assembler, Pascal, and COBOL. In 1995, I began a career as an SAP technical consultant that is still going on today. I work with ABAP (SAP's proprietary language), Java, and other languages as needed. In the last couple of years, I have learned and become a fan of the Ruby programming language and the Ruby on Rails web application framework.
