Why: The 1in8 Motorsports Series & Caitlin Foundation Present THE RIBBON RIDE for BREAST CANCER Sat.Oct 27th 2p.m. Venue Host: "Prague in Motion" / Rock Club 3330 P'Tree Corners Cir. Norcross 30092 The Proceeds for the "Ribbon Ride"/ music festival benefit 1in8 and Caitlin foundation. Both of these entities benefit the Early Detection of Breast Cancer in women. As you know Oct. is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the annual 3 day Walk is on the 12th. Every year we ask riders from all over the surrounding area, where the event is held, to join the fight for early detection. Riders pay $35 for individuals, and $50 for couples to join the ride. This donation gives every rider a "goodie bag" including a "1in8" T-shirt, a sample of Bazi fruit drink, Zija Dietary Supplement Drink, WOW Car Care products, and a spot on the ride. Several bands from the Atlanta area have graciously donated their talent to perform for this special event and cause. THE ROUTE: From the Venue at 3330 P'Tree Cor. Cir.: the Ga. State Patrol Cycle Unit and Fulton County Sheriff's Reserve Riders Squad will escort riders head SOUTH on P'Tree Ind Blvd. to 285 East, Then take I-85 SOUTH (Creating the first band of the Ribbon). Riders follow the GSP & FCRRS Escort on 85 South to 285 south perimeter and turn EAST again on 285(now creating the bottom loop of the Ribbon), Riders then take the I-75 North Ramp and follow 75 all the way back up the the Perimeter north...(Finishing the RIBBON). The GSP/FCSSR will then escort the riders back to the Venue in Norcross, to let the riders spend the rest of the afternoon celebrating with Music, Food, and Friends. THE PRESS: All the major Atlanta TV stations: Ch 2,5,11,46 (including but not limited to) will be notified about the ride and its mission, along with the AJC, Creative Loafing, and several other Atlanta magazines. "Prague in Motion" will host and promote the event with Radio ads, and Flyers throughout the month of October. You can Pre-register for the Ride at "Prague in Motion" after the 12th of Oct.
